Hi Amy, I'm happy to start these promos for you soon. I have a few questions that would help me get started: - Do you have any particular or new copy for these promos? - Can you clarify the dimension and file type you need for these assets? - The Themes promo is different than the Fitness, Shopping and Up&Coming promos because we're showing themes instead of displaying 3 Add-on icons. Can you describe how you'd like to approach this promo? Would something like showing thumbnails of the themes work? If so, how many thumbs would you like to show? I believe we have 6 total on the current page. THanks!
Great! Here are some answers: - I don't have copy, so feel free to take a stab; alternatively, I'm happy to write them if you prefer. - Dimensions of the graphic are 748px x 271px - A themes promo looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/leynq6o.png. We only need the background image and will pre-fill the rest as with add-ons. Thanks!
Hey Amy. I didn't realize we didn't have copy for these...that's a super important element, so we definitely should address it before moving forward with the design. Matej, can you help here? See earlier comments for details. And let us know how this fits into your schedule.
There are a few things I have on my plate, plus a few more I know coming up this week, but I should be able to help with this. I'm just wondering if there's any more direction on what these should say. I haven't worked on too many of these, so I'm wondering about things like tone and CTA. Also, it looks like the example in comment 4 only has a headline, but the one in comment 6 has a subhead as well. Is there a standard format for these? Or one you prefer over the other? Thanks!
Hi Matej, thanks for helping out! There isn't really a standard except there are usually 3 themes for the theme promos (http://i.imgur.com/leynq6o.png) and 3 add-ons for the add-on promos (http://i.imgur.com/h9CHYME.png). There's always a headline, and sometimes there is a subhead. The Android themes promo should probably be similar to the mobile promo (http://i.imgur.com/tU1cqFG.png), in that we should direct people to download Fx Android and install mobile themes. Hi Amy, I had the idea, that by creating a set of more 'generic' backgrounds, this might give you guys more flexibility to use them across many theme sets. Let me know what you think about this series with a bokeh texture. I'm attaching 4 versions below: blue, grey, orange and purple

(If you have a better way to word this please let me know--as far as I know the only way to get themes for your Fx Android is to go to AMO...) Fitness: Get up and move! (Changed the headline to make it more positive, but open to suggestions) Up & Coming: New & Now Get the latest, must-have add-ons of the moment. (Shortened subhead) Shopping one looks great!

According to comment #6, you only needed the background images and that content will be pre-filled. I posted all background assets in Comments #11-14. Is there something else you need?
Ah, I thought the backgrounds were just textures that illustrations would be overlaid on top of. So yes, we're going to put content on top of the image, but the image would need to be more than a background. Sorry for any confusion!
Thanks for clarifying, Amy. In my opinion, I don't think we should include additional illustrations on top of the colored backgrounds. With regard to our style guidelines and visual consistency, we've been trying to move away from creating a lot of new spot illustrations for banners. Is there a way we can see how the backgrounds with the content on top, looks in a live page?

We just finished up a big migration, so we haven't had a chance to try out the backgrounds. Hopefully in the next few weeks.
